Piper's Blessing Day & Happy Anniversary!

We started off our crazy-busy-week on Sunday by blessing our little girl and celebrating our anniversary.

Daddy gave Piper a very sweet blessing.  He thanked our Heavenly Father for giving us our beautiful girl and blessed her to have confidence in herself and in her testimony, and courage to be a good example to those around her (including her future siblings, I giggled to myself).  And many other sweet and wonderful things.

....All we want for our little daughter is for her to understand her divine nature - to find confidence in herself because she is a daughter of God and to not worry too much about what others think. We worry about how the world views women and know it's our responsibility to teach her to love herself.  We know that when you love yourself and are kind to yourself, you love others and are kind to others.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported us.  We love you!

Annnnnd to celebrate our anniversary... after we got home from the lunch at the Griffin's, we took a nap all together (it was much needed because our little girl has decided sleeping isn't her favorite thing), and then ate our leftover Indian food for dinner (our very favorite meal).  Then we spent the night enjoying doing nothing at all at home.  We don't get many days like that anymore.

This year has been a year (please enjoy my favorite expression).  We didn't plan on having a 2 1/2 month at our 1 year anniversary but we are SO GLAD that we do.  I love my Mr. so much and he's so great to me and to our little girl.  I love our little family. I can't wait for the many anniversaries to come.
