13 & 14 Months

13 months…

You got  3 NEW teeth (all in one week) and have one more popping through…

… You still aren't walking but you seem to be getting closer.

You will stand by yourself when you don’t realize it but then promptly grab on to something when you do…

… You are pretty obsessed with the kitty and make a very funny high pitched MEOWWW when you see her

You say lots of things.  Hi, Kitty, Lily, Maa-Ma (Grandma), Mom, Dad, Baa (bath),  Stuck, Truck, More, All done…

…Your first two-word phrase was “Hi Lily”.  Now you’ll say Hi Grandma (Maa-Ma). 

You don’t say no to things.  You always take what you’re offered and if you don’t want it, you throw it.

… You are sleeping BETTER!  Like almost every night, through the night.  What!

You love to go up and down and up and down stairs…

14 months…

You say “Thank you”, often before you take a toy from someone…

... You are starting to imitate us more and more.

You get into everything.  You're soooo helpful ;)

…You take about 10 steps when you feel like it

You take zero steps when we want to show off your walking skills…

...You make lots of animal noises: sheep, kitty, dog, cow

Your hair is still as wild and crazy as ever.  No hair cuts yet.

...You have 2 molars, and a canine tooth!  So 11 teeths in there!

You love to read books, play with fake food, get in to everything…

… you really like sweets and whenever you see some, you sign “more”.  It’s cute.

You have this cute little laugh when you get what you want…

We love you little monkey!

We are loving this age.  And this growing up thing is somehow getting easier.  Talk to me when we have our last baby, then I'll probably be a wreck.
