Piper...

Wild and crazy.

Sleep?  Not often.

Weight?  18ish   Height?  29ish

Milestones?  You dance to music (hot-dog-hot-dog-hot-diggity-dog).  You zoom around crawling but have shown no real interest in walking.  You smack your lips when we say kiss.   You are starting to imitate us more and more - you copy our tones when we say "meow" or "grrrr".   We love to watch you try and figure out what we're doing.

Likes?  You love your new kitty, Rue.  You love when daddy says "I'm gonna get you" and you scoot around the ottoman as fast as you can or run straight to mama.  You love anything you're not supposed to have - the cat's water, cords, night-lights.  Your new fancy convertible car seat (still rear facing).   You like to walk along our ottoman round and round and round.  You like Mickey Mouse, Sophia, and Octonauts.   You like to play with the plastic balls at grandma's house and you really like to play with your cousins when they let you.   You like to open and shut and open and shut things.

Dislikes? You are pretty terrible at eating these days.  You like pasta, crackers, goldfish, cheerios and that's  about it.   You don't like hair bows anymore (cry) so we wear a teeny tiny pony tail.  Still not a fan of night time sleep.  You didn't like Santa - not at all.

Anything else?    You loved Christmas.  It was a long day  but you had fun opening presents and being with the family that loves you so much.   You were spoiled, of course.   You are so fun.  So so fun.  We love this little girl you've become.  You are the best.  I cannot believe that you will be one the next time I sit down to write one of these.  It is so bittersweet.  This was the fastest year ever but the very very best.

And the parent's...

Mama?  This mama is good.  I had a bunch of time away from work and was able to spend it all with my Piper and my Cokie and that's all I ever want.  ..  I threw out my back Saturday morning and so we spent the weekend on the couch even though we had a million things to do.  Thank Heaven for daddy who played the single parent all weekend and took care of his broken wife.   He's the best.  Christmas was wonderful and we were spoiled and to top it off we are going on a cruise in 2 weeks!  We have so much to do to get ready for it but we can't wait!  Oo-da-lollie!

Daddy?  Papa is good and happy.  He's had a little break from school and we've enjoyed having him home more.  School starts next week and it will be a crazy schedule and we are sad about it but the end is in sight!

We got 4 pictures with the bow.

Lots of tricks.
